Urban Systems Lab Visiting Scholar and New School Research Fellow Veronica Olivotto is featured in a new Floodlight investigation, published with The Guardian, on climate vulnerability in Edgemere, Queens. The piece, “‘We are forgotten here’: As NYC builds seawalls, this Queens community feels left behind,” highlights how uneven coastal protection leaves some neighborhoods exposed to chronic flooding and uncertainty.
